All you need to know about the 30-day Prerender.io trial and how to make the best use of it. 

This free trial gives all new users the chance to experience the Starter plan for 30 days, with no credit card required at signup.

Our free Starter trial is designed to help you evaluate Prerender’s full impact on your site's SEO, crawl budget, and site performance.

  • Flexible cache expiration (from 24 hours up to 7 days).

How long does the Free Trial last?
The trial lasts for 30 days from the moment you sign up.

Do I need to provide a credit card to start?
No credit card is required to make use of the 30-day Starter trial.

What happens with my subscription once the trial ends?
It depends on whether you added a credit card during the trial:

  • Card added. The following month, we will charge you for the Starter plan ($49). 
  • Card not added. Your access to the product ends with the trial. Rendering will stop. Please disable the Prerender integration immediately. 

What happens to rendering once the trial ends?
Rendering will stop and crawler requests will return errors (429/503). It's critical that you remove the Prerender integration if you don't plan on upgrading to one of the plans. Leaving the integration active means crawler requests will not get fulfilled which can hurt your SEO. 

What happened to the Free plan? Didn't you have a Free plan?
The Free plan has been discontinued as of October 15, 2025. All users previously on the Free plan have been migrated to the 30-day Starter trial.  

The render limit on the trial isn't enough for me. How can I upgrade immediately?
Contact the Support team by clicking on Support -> Contact Support in your Prerender or by sending an email to support@prerender.io. Let us know which plan you want to transition to and the team will sort it out as soon as possible. 

What if I run out of renders before the trial ends?
You’ll be notified in-app and via email. A small buffer (~15% extra renders) is applied before rendering completely stops. If you hit this limit and don't plan on upgrading we recommend you disable the Prerender integration immediately.
