Changing Your Prerender Plan

Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan from your Prerender.io dashboard.

TL;DR

You can change your Prerender.io plan at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. Select a new plan, confirm, and the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Contact support if you need immediate access to features on a higher plan.

Why this matters

Choosing the right plan ensures your site has enough reserved computation for your render volume. If you consistently exceed your plan's limits, upgrading avoids extra renders. If your needs have changed, downgrading saves cost without losing service until the current cycle ends.

Step 1: open your Prerender.io dashboard.

Log in to your Prerender.io dashboard.

Step 2: go to the billing section.

Navigate to Billing, then select Overview (Billing Overview).

Step 3: select a new plan.

Click Upgrade Now to view available plans. Choose the plan that matches your render volume and feature needs.

ℹ️ Not sure which plan fits your usage? See How do I estimate my monthly render volume and choose a plan? to compare plans.

Step 4: confirm your selection.

Review the plan details and confirm. Your new plan will be applied at the start of your next billing cycle.

Step 5: verify your plan change.

Return to the Billing Overview to confirm your new plan is shown as your upcoming plan.

✅ Your plan change is confirmed when the Billing Overview displays your new plan as the active or upcoming plan for the next billing cycle.

Tips

  • Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Your current plan remains active until the end of the current cycle.
  • Need immediate access to higher-plan features? Contact support@prerender.io to discuss options.
  • Downgrading may reduce your limits. Crawl limits, concurrency, and cache retention may decrease when you move to a lower plan. Review your current usage before downgrading to avoid service interruptions.
