How to Invite Colleagues to my Prerender Account?

A step-by-step guide to inviting and managing team members in your Prerender workspace.

Collaboration is key when managing your website's SEO and performance. Prerender allows you to invite team members to your account, making it easier to delegate tasks and share responsibilities. This guide explains how to add team members and manage their roles effectively.

  • Onboarding New Members: Adding new team members to assist with Prerender tasks.
  • Expanding Team Collaboration: Granting access to developers, SEO specialists, or other stakeholders.
  • Role Reassignment: Adjusting permissions for existing team members based on their responsibilities.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to Your Prerender Account:
    • Visit the Prerender.io website and log in with your account credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Security and Access:
    • Go to the “Team member” section.

  3. Invite a Team Member:
    • Enter the email address and the name of the team member you want to invite.
    • Select the appropriate role for the invitee (e.g., Admin, Billing, Account Owner).
    • Click “Submit” to complete the process.
  4. Manage Invitations and Roles:
    • Track the status of invitations in the “Pending Invites” section.
    • Adjust roles or permissions for existing team members as needed.
  5. Follow Up with the Invitee:
    • Ensure the invited team member accepts the invitation via their email inbox. 
      Note: The invite link expires 12 hours after it was delivered. If an invitee misses the window, you’ll need to resend the invite.

Additional Tips

  • Regularly Review Team Permissions: Ensure all team members have appropriate access based on their current roles.
  • Remove Inactive Members: Clean up your team list by removing members who no longer need access.
  • Leverage Role-Specific Permissions: Use role-based access control to limit or grant specific actions.

Note:

  • An invitation can only be sent to email addresses not yet registered in Prerender.
  • If you see a message saying that the user already exists, please contact us.
  • We can move the existing account under the main account. However, moving the existing account will revoke access from the original account. 
  • You can remove team members from your Prerender account with the Account Owner or Admin privileges.

If you encounter issues such as:

  • Unable to send or receive team invitations.
  • Errors while managing roles or permissions.
  • or if you see a message saying that the user already exists.

Send an email to support@prerender.io or click on Support > Contact Support in the Prerender dashboard, located at the top right corner.
